Walking with crutches
Set crutches on front of you.
Move the casted leg in between the crutches.
Take a step forward with the healthy leg, passing the crutches and other leg.
Walking the stairs with crutches, upwards
Step one stair up with your healthy leg.
Then bring the crutches and the leg with cast on to the same step.
Walking the stairs with crutches, downwards
Place the crutches and the leg with cast on one stair lower.
Then bring your healthy leg on the same step.
Attention! Load limitations
- Limb weight: You can put your foot on the ground – No permission to use the leg
- ½ – weight: Permission to use half weight only
- Full weight: Can use leg as pain permits
