Pyhä Medical Station

You can find our clinic right at the foot of Pyhätunturi, in the same yard as Ski-Inn Hotel Pyhätunturi. The Pyhätunturi medical station has high-quality digital X-ray equipment. The emergency department and doctor’s offices are easily accessible every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. At Pyhä’s medical station, our professional staff is specially trained to respond to the acute medical needs of active fell visitors on their journey, but we take care of the problems of tourists and local residents alike. The doors of Pyhä Medical Station in Pyhätunturi opened in 2017, so we have strong special expertise in slope injuries and other accidents. A specialist in orthopedics and traumatology is always at least available for consultation.

Asiakaspalvelu oli mielettömän hyvää, tuskin olen koskaan vastaavaa saanut missään.Lääkäri Minna teki parempaa työtä, kuin täydellistä, paikatessaan poikani sormea.Lämmin kiitos vielä!

Services

X-ray

At all our medical stations, we can take native x-rays of the upper and lower limbs, as well as the lungs, always during the clinic's opening hours. If necessary, we can consult our company's own orthopedists or radiologists about the images.

Quick tests

In all clinics, you can take various quick tests to facilitate diagnosis. For example, if you have the flu, we can take an inflammation level, a Streptococcus A test and a corona antigen test as a quick test. We also have a urine test for diagnosing a urinary tract infection. In addition to this, we can measure hemoglobin, blood sugar and INR with rapid tests.

Modern support equipment

We use gypsum materials made of fiberglass and wood when plastering fractures. Woodcast plaster is a very moldable and breathable plaster, so it is more comfortable to wear throughout the treatment of the fracture than old-fashioned lime plaster.
