Our passion for Lapland
It all started from a passion for Lapland and trauma treatment. That was the beginning of our journey along the path of mountain medicine. Our first medical station was a small two-room station on Levi’s Myllyjoentie, where pictures were developed in the darkroom and lunches were enjoyed in a small alcove behind the waiting hall curtain.
Over the decades, our operations have developed along with the times. In addition to Levi, we have expanded our services to Ruka and Pyhätunturi. The basic pillars have been involved for more than two decades. Niko and Michel, specialists in orthopedics and traumatology, have been involved almost from the beginning and continue to take care of the quality and level of treatment of injuries together with experienced general practitioners.
Janne, who is responsible for recruiting doctors, has spent time at the stations since 2009. He takes care of travelers’ acute health problems in the winter and ensures that every station has an expert colleague every day during the winter season.
Over the years, we have grown into Finland’s leading medical center chain in the field of slope injuries and alpine medicine. Our stations in Levi, Ruka and Pyhä warmly welcome you. We offer expert treatment and support for all health problems, and our team is ready to serve both local residents and tourists.
